Whitewater Kayak Course in Bern – Learn Paddle Technique, Safety and Experience Nature on the River
In all courses, you learn fundamental paddling techniques for whitewater – directly on the Aare and/or Simme rivers in Bern.
You'll gain control of your kayak, practice essential rescue skills and whitewater swimming, and get hands-on knowledge about the river and its environment.

Spend a day on the Aare learning whitewater kayaking. Perfect for beginners – with fun games, it’s a great experience for families, couples, or team outings!
In a 2-day kayaking course, you’ll learn the basics of whitewater kayaking—so you quickly feel safe and confident on the water.
On the third day of the whitewater kayaking course, you’ll paddle down the Simme River with control and joy – a true whitewater experience!
In a 4-day advanced kayaking course, you’ll paddle on multiple rivers and learn how to safely and skillfully navigate rapids in different sections.

I offer Beginner kayaking courses to advanced courses in Bern. With Arkadventures you learn the most important steps and knowledge that later allows you to paddle a river with confidence and a new passion! There are also kayaking Tours/holidays available that are the perfect match for more experienced kayakers, but they can also be made possible for people starting out!
By going on the river with Arkadventures, you're not only supporting a small independent Kayak School, but you're also ensuring that you have the most fun and get the most out of your day or days on the water. With a one-on-one company in a small group, you'll learn a lot and stress-free experience.
Kayaking trips
On all trips the transport, sleeping arrangements and guiding is all included, this makes it a very easy choice for a small group who want to do a paddling trip away from home!
Corsica

Switzerland
Arkadventures, based in Switzerland, offers a wide variety of whitewater experiences – time to paddle as long as the snowmelt lasts!
